Returns

If you wish to cancel an order before it has been delivered, you must contact Broadfield Garden Buildings immediately. You must confirm your cancellation in writing by contacting us in writing by email or by submitting your request through the Contact Us page. If you cancel via telephone, your order will be put on hold until you have contacted us in writing. If cancellation is made 5 working days or less before delivery, there may be an additional handling charge to cover reasonable costs. Broadfield Garden Buildings reserves the right and is entitled to deduct these charges from any refund issued. For any bespoke, customised, or personalised product this could be the full purchase price of the item(s).

All deliveries must be checked within 14 days of receipt that all components are present and satisfactory, and you should notify Broadfield Garden Buildings by contacting us in writing by email or by submitting your request through the Contact Us page as soon as possible after the delivery has been made if the goods are damaged or do not comply with any of the contract. After 14 days you will be deemed to have accepted the ordered goods. Broadfield Garden Buildings will not accept any claims, complaints, or requests beyond this date. Broadfield Garden Buildings will not accept any product for cancellation or return if it has been assembled, modified, or customised in any way including being subject to the application of chemicals or paints.

A claim of defect or damage can only be considered, if goods are in the condition as received (not assembled, painted, treated, or altered in any way). Where a claim is accepted, Broadfield Garden Buildings will supply/replace/repair any necessary parts to complete your agreed initial purchase as appropriate.

If you are a consumer you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel the contract and receive a refund by informing the seller in writing within 14 working days after the last day of delivery of all the goods. Goods must be in an unused and resalable condition (received as delivered, including all original packaging, not assembled, painted, treated or altered in any way). You will be asked, however, to pay the costs of the return postage/carriage to one of Broadfield Garden Buildings’s distribution centres or for the collection charge by one of Broadfield Garden Buildings’s pre-approved couriers. Collection charges may very by items being collected.

If Broadfield Garden Buildings send you the incorrect product or if, upon receipt of all relevant evidence, we deem it has arrived faulty or damaged, you will be offered a full refund and exemption from collection costs. Any item to be returned or replaced must be in the same condition as delivered. Broadfield Garden Buildings will not accept any product for return if it has been damaged, assembled, modified, or customised in any way including being subject to the application of chemicals or paints. Broadfield Garden Buildings will require photographic evidence of any complaints, defects, requests to return a product or claims of incorrect or incomplete product delivery, which can be submitted by contacting us in writing by email or by submitting your request through the Contact Us page.

Please note: all sizes and measurements are approximations only and while Broadfield Garden Buildings will endeavour to ensure all products are manufactured as close as possible to the measurements provided, we cannot be held responsible should there be a discretion in the finished size.

Please note: any guarantee offered does not cover the products against timber splits or warping. These are natural characteristics of the products and not defects and neither will these circumstances be accepted as a valid reason for the cancellation of an order, as this can occur naturally over time.

REFUNDS

Refunds due to amended purchases and cancellations made prior to delivery will be processed by Broadfield Garden Buildings within 14 working days. Please allow a further 3-5 working days for your card or finance provider to process the refund back to your account.

Items that have been delivered and are subsequently cancelled, found to be faulty, damaged, or unwanted will be refunded by Broadfield Garden Buildings within 14 working days of the goods being returned and inspected. If the order is cancelled and Broadfield Garden Buildings or their designated couriers fail to collect the item(s) the refund will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation notice provided the customer has not refused collection dates. Please allow a further 3-5 working days for your card or finance provider to process the refund back to your account.

Where exchange rates of currency are involved, the refund will be made in pound sterling and at the current exchange rate. Broadfield Garden Buildings does not accept responsibility for any loss or gain caused by changes in the exchange rate between the time or ordering and the time of issuing a refund.
